I’m Dafydd Ryan Jones but you can call me Daf. 
I’m a freelance Senior Motion Designer and general video Swiss Army knife.
I love working as a freelancer on projects, focussing all my skills towards one goal and working with new briefs and new, unique insights from talented teams every time. I like swooping in with a fresh set of eyes and being given a nice tasty problem to solve.

Experience

2020-2024 - Freelance Motion Designer
Motion design, animation and video editing for high-profile end clients in film/TV, tech and consumer goods. Storyboarding, conceptualisation, branding and visualisation. Creative project lead, supporting junior staff and interacting with end clients. Long-term team integration and last-minute creative/technical support.

 

2019-2020 - Motion Designer - Grapple + Ponderosa Agency - Leeds
Motion graphics for advertising, social media, client pitches, B2B and B2C content. Storyboarding, conceptualisation, 3D concepts, Video production, editing, project management. Digital media projects, including animation. Training other staff in After Effects.
