    Job Description:

    As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and ensuring the successful completion of renovation and construction projects in the commercial and healthcare sectors.

    Your responsibilities will include detailed planning, efficient team coordination, and ensuring projects are finished on schedule, within budget, and meeting the highest standards of quality and safety.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Leadership: Oversee electrical renovation and construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
    • Team Coordination: Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders, to guarantee smooth project execution.
    • Client Engagement: Act as the main contact for clients, nurturing strong relationships, understanding their requirements, and providing regular project updates.
    • Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of all project activities.
    • Quality Control: Establish and maintain strict quality assurance procedures to ensure all electrical work meets industry standards and client specifications.
    • Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety standards at all project sites, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
    • Financial Oversight: Monitor project finances, compile detailed financial reports, and manage budgets for cost-effective project delivery.
    • Problem Solving: Identify potential project issues and create proactive solutions to reduce risks and ensure project success.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Proven track record as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar position in the building services sector.
    • Extensive experience managing renovation and construction projects in the commercial and healthcare sectors.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
    • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
    • Excellent financial management skills with expertise in budgeting and cost control.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
    • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or building services (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent).
    • Membership in professional organizations (e.g., NICEIC, IET) is a plus.
