    Would you like to be part of an amazing chic new fine dining restaurant opening in the heart of London? Our client is looking for an esteemed restaurant manager with fine dining and/or Michelin experience.

    The opportunity has a structure in place which promises career growth to even more senior operational positions in the next 12 months within the group.


    POSITION PURPOSE:


    A Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant. Their duties include hiring and training restaurant staff following company policies, speaking with diners to address concerns or solve problems and creating work schedules for restaurant staff. A Restaurant Manager is also responsible for assisting the General Manager with other duties.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

    • Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy.
    • Training staff to follow restaurant procedures.
    • Maintaining safety and food quality standards.
    • Keeping customers happy and handling complaints.
    • Organising schedules.
    • Keeping track of employees' hours.
    • Recording payroll data.
    • Supervising daily shift operations.
    • Ensuring all end of day cash outs are correctly completed.
    • Coordinating daily front-of-house operations.
    • Interacting with guests to get feedback on product quality and service levels.
    • Following opening and closing procedures.
    • Organise and oversee lunch and dinner service.
    • Assisting the General Manager with other administrative tasks.
    • Completing financial and daily activity reporting.

    SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:

    • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Fine dining or Michelin experience
    • Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely.
    • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
    • Prior work as a manager or supervisor
    • Excellent customer service.
    • Keen knowledge in the Food and Beverage industry.
    • Training in food safety.
    • Financial literacy.
    • Ability to keep inventory organised.
    • Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills.
    • Strong time management and organisational skills.
    • High degree of attention to detail.
