    Job Summary

    You will be part of our Older Adults Mental Health Holly Ward at The Redwoods Centre, Shrewsbury. Holly Ward is an assessment ward that mainly covers Shropshire, Telford, and Wrekin, with occasional patients from other regions. We offer care for older adults with functional mental health diagnoses.

    Your journey with us will be fulfilling as you enhance specialized skills and positively impact some of society's most vulnerable individuals.

    Main Duties of the Job

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Working on an adult community mental health ward, with the option to work across wards based on skill and service demands.
    • Providing high-quality clinical services to service users and their families.
    • Managing and delivering care to referred patients by collaborating with relevant agencies and establishing a support network for patients and their caregivers to ensure exceptional therapeutic care.
    • Clinically supervising team members when necessary.
    • Delivering therapeutic interventions as per agreed care plans for individuals facing mental health challenges.
    • Managing the clinical area in the absence of the ward manager.
    • Implementing agreed monitoring strategies to assess care effectiveness based on care guidance.

    Things That You Will Have

    • Registered mental health professional (NMC).
    • Post-registration degree or diploma courses.
    • Registered mentor/supervisor.
    • Leadership qualification (Desirable).
    • High self-motivation and flexibility.
