    Frontend Developer

    Rate: £525 - £570 (DOE) Outside IR35

    Duration: 3 Months + Extensions

    Location: London

    Onsite: 1 Day per week

    Notice: 2 weeks max

    A portfolio is required for submission

    The Opportunity:

    One of the UK's fastest-growing start-ups seeks a talented (React) Front-End Developer to support the development of its innovative web application, which provides users with a one-stop shop for hassle-free car buying.

    With the backing of two automotive giants, the team has disrupted Europe's and now the UK's 50Bn used car industry, delivering an intuitive and user-friendly platform to customers and car dealers alike.

    Required Experience:

    • Prior experience in B2C industry web platform development.
    • Proficiency in building dynamic, responsive, and maintainable web applications using modern JavaScript tools (React, Redux, Webpack, Node, Styled Components, HTML5).
    • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript tooling, design patterns, and ECMAScript syntax.
    • Delivering server-side Rendered React applications with frameworks like Express.
    • Familiarity with Progressive Web Apps, JAMstack, and static site generators such as Gatsby JS.
    • Skills in utilising headless content management systems like Contentful and Kentico.
    • Proficiency in source control (GIT, Gitflow) and bug-tracking systems (JIRA).
    • Component environments and style guides (Storybook).
    • Ability to build and manage Continuous Integration pipelines and automated test suites.
    • Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) methodologies and writing tests using Jest, Enzyme, Chai, Sinon, and Istanbul.
    • Understanding of cross-platform/browser compatibility.
