Building Control Surveyor
North London (Muswlell Hill and Finchley)
£4- 65k depending on experience

A very flexible role with a team who look after their staff well. The business do their utmost to ensure the happiness of their staff. Continually promoting their talent surveyors who have training and development at their disposal. Which will prove invaluable while the regulations changes come into effect. They use internal and external training providers, funded courses and mentor programmes. It is tailored to what you need. This is why this role will be suitable for Senior Surveyors or part qualified surveyors.

The team they have in North London use the central London offices as a base so there is a real team spirit to the office.

Which is likely why they have such a good employee retention rate as well.

The projects you will work on a specifically located around North London and you will work on residential and small commercial works.

You will need to have some experience with residential building control.

You don't have to be fully chartered so will suit surveyors at ACABE level or if you have experience with a warranty provider or Local Authority.

You will be responsible for all elements of building control:

Fee quotation
Build strong relationships with all stakeholders
Work with architects and building engineers at design stage
Offer advice to make projects both compliant with building regulations and cost effective
Various site inspections at all stages of construction
Use your knowledge of the regulations to ensure construction and building safety
Issue initial and final notices
