Description
We are looking for an experienced solicitor to join our private client team.Working closely with one of the partners in our private client team who is the Head of our Probate and Private Wealth Disputes Departments, the role provides excellent exposure to litigation, private client as well as some commercial work.
The candidate will have the opportunity to work on an unusually varied and high-quality caseload to develop a broad experience across a diverse range of practice areas.
Taking on matters within the department, with cases and transactions including (but not limited to) matters involving contentious probate and trust disputes, generally chancery litigation to also include some insolvency matters.
carrying out legal research and general administrative tasks as well as developing client relationship skills.Overseeing junior team members, to include trainee solicitors and paralegals.
Complying with risk management processes and policies.
Contributing to business development and identify networking and marketing opportunities internally and externally.
Strong interest in a contentious private client/commercial practice.
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel as well as legal tools such as Westlaw, PLC and Lexis Nexis.
Must have at least 3 years' experience as a private client solicitor.Target related bonus structure.
