    Sales Lead/Director (Trading)

    Flexible within UK

    Reports into SVP Sales

    Our client is a leading technology company working in the utilities sector.

    We are looking for a Sales Director for the UK with the following details:


    This is a key sales and client support role within the trading domain, working with a team of laser focused professionals who are introducing our client to new organizations across the EMEA region.

    We're looking for someone ready to take the next step with their career in sales.

    This position is an autonomous role working closely with the SVP Sales, EMEA to continue to build and grow this region.

    The primary duty of the Sales Director / Executive is to build the EMEA region's sales activities by connecting with potential customers, identifying relevant customer needs and building relationships that lead to opportunities and converting sales opportunities to actual sales (with the support of the technical team).

    As a member of client's sales team, Sales Director will be responsible for initiating and developing relationships with a variety of prospective customers including:


    • Project Developers
    Outbound phone-based prospecting experience targeting senior executives.


    • Experience working with or similar CRM
    • Self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook and a focus on quality.
    • Thorough knowledge of standard Microsoft programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
    • Strong desire for personal and career advancement.
    Degree qualified – Engineering, electrical, or energy related field preferred.


    • 5+ years of experience in a sales, technical sales, or industry consulting role.
    • Experience in Utilities sector, ideally within Trading solutions / software's
    • Extensive experience in software products sales and positioning (value selling).
    • Proven track record of achievement of sales quotas.
    • Regional experience in a sales role.
