The Green Recruitment Company are working with a global energy andsustainability advisor that enables companies to positively address climatechange calls through a modular approach built over decades of experience inthe energy sector.
They help customers navigate complex competitive energysupply markets through to implementing decarbonisation roadmaps andrenewable energy projects.They work in partnership with our commercial andindustrial clients to design a holistic strategy encompassing energyreporting, energy supply and energy management programmes and to activelytrack and evaluate the performance of that strategy over time.
They alsoassist clients in GHG emissions reporting, designing, and executing acustomized decarbonization strategy across Scope 1,2 and 3 emissions.The Role:
The Senior Renewable Energy Advisor (SRA) leads client engagements of avariety of scopes, including GHG emission reduction strategy development,renewable product evaluation and risk analysis, transaction solicitationmanagement, and contract negotiation between client and developer.
Clientengagement leadership includes leading client meetings and workshops (oftenwith senior executives), communicating effectively on complex topics,managing work scopes, and assuring delivery of quality and timelyinformation.
The SRA demonstrates and applies subject matter expertise inmultiple areas, including but not limited to:wholesale power markets inEurope, Scope 2 emission reduction products, GHG emission reductionframeworks, tariff rate structures for commercial & industrialenterprises, renewable project economics and analysis techniques, andtransaction negotiations and contracting.
The SRA provides guidance toother analysis/advisor team members (Net Zero, Energy Portfolio Management,Trading desk for Energy Attribute Certificates), offers and seeks supportto/from colleagues on tangent teams, and leads cross team initiatives asrequested.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver clear and analytically supported presentationmaterial to educate and advise clients on renewable procurement strategyand execution. Lead client discussions to facilitate stakeholder alignment and shapestrategies that reflect stated goals, priorities, and constraints. Demonstrate market, regulatory and renewable transaction expertisethroughout client engagements. Maintain understanding of existing and new sustainability solutions andhow they are regarded by key organizations (SBTi, RE100, CDP, etc.).
Manage procurement of renewable supply and environmental commoditiesincluding design and delivery of sourcing events, proposal analysis and duediligence, and post-procurement support.
Build and maintain counterparty relationships (including those withrenewable project developers and environmental commodity sellers) duringand outside of procurement events.Your Profile:
