The Accounts Payable Specialist will perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
Solid understanding of basic book keeping and general accounting procedures.~ Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
~ Knowledge of relevant accounting software.
~ Proficient in data entry and management.
~1-2 years accounts payable or general accounting experience.
~ Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
Prepare analysis of accounts.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Provide supporting documentation for audits
Strong research, writing and communication skills.
Desire to travel and see the world.
Ability to work independently and manage your own projects in a professional manner.
A passion for innovation and the financial technology sector.
Project management skills and proven ability to manage own workload.
