    Overview


    On behalf of Buckinghamshire Council, Pertemps Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an HR Customer Experience Officer to join the HR Service Desk team in Aylesbury.

    Working alongside the HR Workforce Data, Insight & Customer Experience Lead, you will be responsible for the provision of first line customer service that aims to continually exceed customer expectations, the resolution of customer queries and the management of requests for the HR & OD Service

    About the role
    As an HR Customer Experience Officer, you will have a number of responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:


    Ensure that calls, emails and portal requests sent to the HR Customer Experience Officer are acknowledged, investigated, resolved or redirected in a timely and appropriate manner and within agreed SLAs.

    To provide advice and answer queries on all HR & OD areas including but not limited to maternity queries, resourcing, payroll issues and employee relations matters whilst understanding when a matter requires escalation to a specialist team.

    To champion exemplary customer service with the wider HR & OD Department.

    To work closely with other HR & OD teams to ensure processes and policies are followed continuously and accurate advice/guidance is provided to customers.

    To work with the HR Customer Experience Team Supervisor to research and develop model answers for complex or frequent queries to ensure accurate and consistent guidance is delivered by all.

    To participate in knowledge sharing sessions with other teams, constantly improving the knowledge of the HR Customer Experience team in order that more of the queries can be resolved as a 'first line fix'.

    To undertake general SAP system administrative activities as directed.

    This is a temporary position for until 31 March 2025 with potential to extend or become permanent. The pay rate is £13.00 per hour, and you will be working full time, 37 hours per week. This post allows for hybrid working with two days in the office, or fully office based if preferred.


    The Aylesbury office is conveniently situated in the town centre (HP20 1UA) with great transport links including a local train station and excellent road connections to the M25, M1, M4 and M40.

    About you
    The successful candidate(s) should have:

    Previous customer service experience is essential
    Previous experience within a help desk environment or similar is desirable
    Must be able to start at short notice due to urgency of the role

    Hours:
    Monday to Friday – 37 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:30pm
    Pay Rate - £13.00 per hour
    Start Date - ASAP
    Work Schedule – Mix of office and home working
    Location – Aylesbury based
