    Description

    5D Bespoke People Solutions areproud to be working with a leading engineering company that designand manufacture sealing systems that are used in a variety ofindustries. They supply anything from a simple off the shelf Orings through to bespoke sealing machinery.

    What the role will include:

    The workshop role involvesbuilding the machines from the ground up through to FAT and clientacceptance.

    Mechanically:

    • Takingbase frames and fitting mechanical components this could be pumpsvalves chillers and othercomponents.
    • Building subassembliesthis could be sealing mechanisms grabbers cooling systemsetc.
    • Fitting the subassemblies in tolarger assemblies and into the mainmachine.

    Electrically:

    • Buildingthe control panel these are typically fairly small about the sizeof a large bathroom cabinet.
    • Wiringthe machines including working from schematics running cablesterminating crimping etc.
    • Wiring inthe control panel to themachine.

    Test:

    • Checkingall the electrical and mechanical fitting prior to test and doingany snagging.
    • Conducting power uptesting.
    • Conducting a prewrittenfunctionality testprogramme.
    • Certify the machine whenhappy.
    • Be involved with the FAT withthe client.
    • This is either face toface or done over videocall.

    Sitework:

    • Go on to aclient site and install and commission themachine.
    • Travel can be UK or EU andis only 10% of the role. There is a service engineer who will dothe majority of theinstals.
    • Machines can be tabletopsized through to something that s 3mlong.


    Benefits

    Thisrole pays 30k 37k Regular overtime paid with average earnings inexcess of45000
