    TheOpportunity:

    This is a fantasticopportunity to join Rovcos Survey Department as a SeniorSurveyor.
    You will have the chance to work on board Surveyvessels with advanced hullmounted and towed surveysensors
    You will work closely with Software Developers torevolutionise the Offshore Industry.

    MainResponsibilities

    • Providetechnical experience and support to the wider Surveyteam.
    • Responsible for the Online Surveyequipment and software ensuring it is operational for dataacquisition and surveillance.
    • Preparationinstallation and calibration of survey equipment duringmobilisations and demobilisations.
    • Ensureacquisition logs are maintained and reporting templates and otherappropriate documentation are utilised.
    • Ensurequality control and assurance is performed on all survey dataacquired.
    • Understand work specificationsproject requirements and clientobjectives.
    • Assist projects to be completed ina safe and efficient manner.
    • Assist with lineplanning and other project preparations.
    • Workclosely with the Survey Delivery Team on projectdeliverables.
    • Assist Survey Delivery Team inmaintaining uptodate departmentaldocumentation.
    • Assist writing mobilisationreports field memos and field reports asrequired.

    Youshould apply if youhave:

    Essential:

    • Asolid understanding of survey principles and marine surveytechniques
    • Previous experience as a Surveyor(IMCA Grade 1)
    • Experience ofHydrographic / Geophysical Survey mobilisation and dataacquisition
    • Experience with USBLcalibrations
    • Operational experience of MBES INSUSBL GNSS SSS Mag and SBPequipment
    • Understanding of UXO target IDInspection pipeline cable DOB and sitesurveys
    • Interest in innovative and disruptivesurvey technology
    • Excellent written and spokenEnglish skills
    • Problem solving anddecisionmaking skills
    • Operational familiaritywith Qinsy

    Desirable:

    • Relevantexperience as a Senior Surveyor
    • Understandingof Survey Data Processing
    • Experience in writingreports for survey activities
    • Experience withNaviScan
    • Experience with Lineplanning
    • CAD experience
