In this role, you will be at the forefront of documentation, administration, and system management for a dynamic suite of services, ensuring optimal performance and security across their network.
Cloud Technician Ideal Profile:
Degree in IT or equivalent experience with a broad range of technical skillsProficiency in cloud platforms, especially Azure, and familiarity with AWSExtensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office ecosystem and its componentsStrong capabilities in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, GPO, and PowerShell scriptingExperience with Windows Server, including Hyper-V, and deep O365 skillsUnderstanding of ITIL frameworks, including change, problem, and incident management
Cloud Technician Responsibilities:
Administer and manage the Microsoft Cloud Environment, including documentation and continuous improvementOversee Hybrid AD, both on-premise and Azure AD estates, including tenant to tenant migrations using third-party toolsAutomate tasks using PowerShell to enhance reporting, fault finding, and provide updatesMonitor cloud infrastructure proactively to ensure performance, availability, integrity, and resilienceLead disaster recovery efforts and contribute to security policy enforcement and reviewsProvide training to Service Desk and Infrastructure teams and handle multiple projects, including direct service desk support as neededBy submitting your CV to Ginger Recruitment Services Ltd (GRSL), you are consenting to GRSL providing you with recruitment services as an agency defined under the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and authorising GRSL to work seek on your behalf.
