    Description

    Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Grants Manager to join a fantastic charity working to provide long-term sustainable help to vulnerable young people, by working closely with organisations supporting families, schools and local communities.


    Location:
    Hybrid working, 2 days can be from home and 3 days a week based in the Westminster office.

    As Senior Grants Manager you will be an ambassador for the Foundation and will lead implementation of the grant making strategy to provide opportunities for children and young people (0-25 years old).

    You will be responsible for National Grants, building a National Rural Grants programme and managing and developing the existing Grant Management team.

    Working closely with the Senior Finance and Operations Managers to plan grants

    will further the strategic aims of the Foundation.

    Having overall accountability and oversight of the Partnership Grantees to consider portfolio level analysis of impact, efficiency and effectiveness.

    Working closely with the Westminster Foundation Director and Senior Communications and Engagement Manager to develop a Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.

    The successful candidate will have strong Grant Management experience (minimum of 5 years) ideally with a large funder and a passion for working to improve life chances of vulnerable children and young people.

    Strong experience of improving processes and procedures in grant management is key and experience of capital projects/spend out of a fund would be helpful but not essential
