    Description

    Are you a Chartered Building Surveyor looking to make your next career move into a role with more responsibility and opportunity for growth? My client is a large multidisciplinary consultancy looking to expand their team.

    The successful candidate will be part of a team of building surveyors covering projects for an interesting range of essential public sector Clients.

    You will also work closely with and manage in-house multi-discipline project teams.

    This provides many opportunities to develop personal careers within the organisation alongside professional development, all of which is encouraged by Leadership.


    Responsibilities:

    • Lead on individual Building Surveying, Project Management, and Contract Administration commissions, managing multi-discipline project teams.
    • Fully involved in or managing others to produce drawings, specifications and tender documents.
    • Survey and Report writing for the full range of typical core professional Building Surveying services.
    • Continuous improvement of our standards, processes and knowledge to deliver improved services to our core clients.
    • Key account client management.
    • Establish client briefs, appropriate fees, and cost control through to completion.

    Requirements:

    • Relevant degree (RICS approved)
    • A full driving licence
    • Previously worked in a smile role in the public or private sector
    • Good IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, NBS and other software)
