- Lead and manage HVAC installation projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Supervise and coordinate the installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, equipment, and controls, ensuring compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Oversee the testing, start-up, and commissioning of HVAC systems to verify proper installation, functionality, and performance.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure workmanship meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations
- Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to installation crews, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to project timelines.
- Train and mentor team members on proper installation techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding installation progress, issues, and concerns, ensuring open communication and timely resolution of any issues
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including installation records, test reports, commissioning documentation, and project progress reports.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment, identify potential hazards, and mitigate risks associated with HVAC installation activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency enhancements in HVAC installation practices and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC installation, testing, and commissioning, with proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Previous experience working with Marine, commercial, industrial, or institutional HVAC projects.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing HVAC installation and safety practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
