    Job Title Product Manager - Metering Job Description The Product Manager of Metering is accountable for defining the product strategy and roadmap to deliver metering & consumption billing capabilities across Sage's product portfolio.

    Close alignment with the Sage Digital Network strategy & team is essential to deliver a product that is both scalable and commercially viable to deliver revenue growth.

    Educating Sages customers on the value they are receiving by periodically reporting their most valuable usage KPI's and highlight the efficiencies from which they now benefit is essential to drive Customer retention and reduce churn.

    A strong focus on delivery & execution as well as an ability to navigate ideation through to development, go to market, in life performance and Go-to-market effectiveness through agile delivery are critical factors of success.

    To be successful, the Product Manager of Metering will work across Sage's Product Business Units to understand the needs of customers, and apply data led reasoning, influence, and communication skills to create buy-in for the product vision.

    They will translate that vision into detailed requirements and roadmap commitments and connect colleagues within Sage to ensure that those commitments are met on time and at quality, to drive revenue growth for Sage and improve the lifetime experience for our customers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Gather, analyse, and use data to define product specifications and business strategy for metering & consumption billing.
    • Communicate product strategy and functionality at events, to analysts & internal audiences.
    • Establish a deep understanding of customer needs, the market, and competitors for metering and consumption billing experiences; and turn into structured and well thought out requirements.
    • Create strong collaboration with Pricing and Product Marketing teams to develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
    • Work closely with experience design to define market leading in product capabilities for metering and consumption pricing which deliver sustainable revenue growth for Sage.
    • Work closely with engineering teams to influence and deliver effective time-to-market, quality and within budget, highlighting opportunities, risks and dependencies for action.
    • Educate our customers on the value they are receiving by periodically reporting their most valuable usage KPI's and highlight the efficiencies from which they now benefit.
    • Review and manage customer feedback channels and evaluate and translate into to appropriate improvements.
    • Adopt rigour in all activity including use of tools, processes, and methodologies such as Aha, JIRA, Agile.
    • Act as the go-to person for metering & consumption billing globally and regionally
    • Engage with partners, accountants, press, media, customers etc - all external parties as required.
