About Us

Duty Manager – Sales at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre

Full-Time, Starting salary: £,pa

Do you have great organizational skills and can multi-task?

Do you hold a recognized fitness qualification or a sports/recreation/management or sales qualification, NPLQ and PPO qualifications?

Are you a confident communicator who enjoys meeting people and providing great customer service?

Then we need you to join our team!

Where you'll be working:
You'll be based at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre. Facilities include indoor main and learner pools, hydrotherapy pool, fitness suite, spin studio, and studio space. The Centre is open days a week from to pm.

What you'll be doing:
You'll be part of our management team overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Centre to ensure it runs smoothly. Ensuring the facilities are clean, safe, and staffed for a great customer experience is a top priority. With a focus on managing sales, you'll provide professional and friendly assistance with membership tours/enquiries and welcome visitors. You'll also handle day-to-day plant operation tasks.

The working pattern involves a hour shift rota, including early mornings, daytime, and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends. Check the job profile for details on the varied role.

What we'll need from you:
We're looking for someone with previous experience in health and fitness or sales. Understanding of the sales process and pool plant experience required. Qualifications needed include a sports/fitness/recreation/management or sales qualification (essential), National Pool Lifeguard qualification (essential), and National Pool Plant Operators qualification (essential). First Aid qualification is desirable.
