    HV Safety Engineer - £40k to £70k - EV - South Europe

    One of my key clients is a leading innovator in the field of electric vehicle (EV) technology, dedicated to creating sustainable transportation solutions for a greener future.

    They're committed to pushing the boundaries of EV technology and delivering cutting-edge solutions that redefine the automotive industry. As they continue to grow and expand they're seeking a talented HV Safety Engineer.

    The High Voltage Safety Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining safety protocols and procedures for high voltage systems across my clients EV platform.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with expertise in high voltage systems, electrical safety standards, and risk assessment methodologies.

    As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest level of safety and reliability for all EV products.


    Role:
    HV Safety Engineer
    Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for high voltage systems, in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

    Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety hazards and mitigate risks associated with high voltage systems.

    Design and validate safety features and interlocks to prevent electrical hazards and ensure safe operation of high voltage systems.

    Collaborate with design engineers to integrate safety requirements into the development of high voltage components and systems.

    Perform safety testing and validation of high voltage systems, including insulation testing, ground fault detection, and fault tolerance analysis.

    Provide technical expertise and guidance on high voltage safety standards and best practices to cross-functional teams.

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on high voltage systems and electrical safety.
