    Occupational Therapist

    About the Role:

    Thomas Edward Mitton House is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team in Milton Keynes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality occupational therapy care and support in a supportive and collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patients' abilities to perform daily activities.
    • Provide therapeutic interventions to promote health and well-being.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
    • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with professional standards.
    • Participate in case conferences and contribute to the development of care strategies.
    • Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
    • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
    • Experience in a clinical setting is desirable but not essential.
    • Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
    • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
