- Acting and assisting on Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims on behalf of leading insurers and insureds working on cases from £50k to over £1million.
- Handling own multi-track caseload and assisting solicitors and partners with complex, high value, personal injury and group litigation claims.
- Drafting pleadings, prepare own liability strategies, reporting to clients, drafting witness statements, preparing instructions to counsel and experts and attending in conference and trials, conducting negotiations and attendance at a variety of ADR formats.
- Conducting research and keeping up to date with legal and industry practices.
- Experience of running a multi-track, EL/ PL caseload including experience of determining liability.
- Experience of working within a large loss team.
- Previous experience of Defendant personal injury litigation.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently and effectively.
- A professional manner with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent academic background.
