    Role Summary

    The U.S. CAR T marketplace and operations is complex given the patient specific needs. Within this complex environment, process design, execution, and improvement initiatives are critical success factors ensuring that patients receive timely access to a CAR T Therapy after a clinical decision has been made by their provider. Given such complexity, the Associate Director, Commercial Process & Analytics would have the opportunity to leverage data, systems, and work with cross-functional colleagues to deliver on efficient processes contributing to patient access.

    The Associate Director, Commercial Process & Analytics will be responsible for process development, process improvement, documentation (SOP/WI), and commercial operations data analytics for the commercial team including but limited to Marketing, Market Access, Demand Generation, Commercial Operations, Patient Support/Distribution, etc.

    The Associate Director, Commercial Process & Analytics will foster Autolus employee's workplace efficiency ensuring that Autolus staff and leadership receive the necessary information and system capabilities to be effective at launch.

    This person can work strategically with key stakeholders across the company and use their experience to map program/processes, Key SOP governance, and optimization initiatives.

    The Associate Director, Commercial Process & Analytics will play a critical role in analysing commercial processes for optimization opportunities via informal process improvement and more official process improvement vehicles such as DMAIC (Define Measure Analyse Improve and Control) via ongoing greenbelt six sigma projects. These optimization efforts may derive from satisfaction surveys, organic customer feedback, key performance indicators (KPI), process mapping, or strategic shifts in priority.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Designs, documents, and leads commercial process development such as exception processing, order processing, etc.
    • Business owner of the commercial CRM leading up workflow changes, data request, access, etc.
    • Creates operational dashboards to support the business and business reviews with key vendors and internal management.
    • Liaison with business analytics to ensure appropriate data sets are represented within executive and company dashboards and support where necessary
    • Crafting and management of critical SOPs and Works instructions across multiple facets of the U.S. commercial organization
    • Collaborate with functions outside of commercial in cases where initiatives span multiple departments
    • Routinely collect and examine customer feedback, determine cause of negative customer feedback, and conduct root cause resolution where necessary.
    • Responsible for ongoing Six-Sigma process improvement within commercial
    • Liaison with pertinent cross-functional partners to align on processes, process improvement, and project management where applicable.
    • Establish impact assessment processes and manage change request impact assessment working with the appropriate cross functional colleagues
    • Distil complex ideas and/or projects to differing levels of leadership for applicable endorsement
