    Job Title:
    Software Engineer / SRE (AWS, Spring, Microservices)

    Location:
    Birmingham, UK (Hybrid)

    Salary:
    Up to £65,000 per annum

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a talented Software Engineer (SRE) who is passionate about AWS, Spring, Microservices, Architecture and DevOps, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

    As a Software Engineer (SRE), you will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and microservices-based applications.

    Your expertise in AWS, Spring, and DevOps practices will drive efficiency and scalability, ensuring our technology solutions remain cutting-edge.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Design, build, and maintain our AWS-based cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and securityCollaborate closely with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processesManage and optimise microservices architecture for performance and reliabilityTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues, ensuring minimal downtimeImplement best practices for monitoring, logging, and alertingStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvementWork closely with cross-functional teams to optimise system architecture for maximum efficiencyQualifications:Proven experience as a Software Engineer (SRE) in a cloud environment, with a strong focus on AWSExpertise in microservices architecture and Spring frameworkProficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash)Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g.
