We're looking for a Systems Engineer to join a vibrant team based in Horsham. Your role will be pivotal in crafting cutting-edge targeting and surveillance equipment for both land and naval defence purposes.
With an expanding order book and extensive global clientele, we're on the lookout for skilled individuals to help us fulfil these vital contracts.
In this role, you'll navigate a diverse product portfolio, ranging from innovative low-TRL concept demonstrator systems to the repeat orders of our highly successful electro-optical surveillance and tracking systems.
Your knack for managing system complexity and resolving conflicting requirements will be invaluable.

Capture and Management:
You'll be tasked with gathering and managing the requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of what the system needs to achieve.
Functional and Physical Systems Architecture Design and Definition: This involves designing and defining the architecture of both the functional and physical aspects of the systems, laying the groundwork for their development.
System Modelling:
Employing modelling techniques to simulate and analyse the behaviour of the system under different conditions, aiding in its optimisation and refinement.
Development of Engineering Management Plans:
Crafting comprehensive plans for engineering management, including safety management, test integration and acceptance, and technical risk management, to ensure smooth project execution.
Gathering ofVerification Evidence For Systems Requirements:
Collecting evidence to verify that the system requirements are being met, ensuring its functionality and performance align with the customer's needs.
Creation of Procurement Specifications:
Defining the parameters and procedures for testing the system to ensure its quality and reliability.
Conducting Design Reviews:
Leading or participating in design reviews to assess the progress and quality of the system's development, identifying any issues or areas for improvement.
Environmental Qualification Plans:
Developing plans to qualify the system for operation in various environmental conditions, such as EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), temperature, shock, and vibration.
