    • Get exposure as a Mechanical Field Service Engineer - working on client sites across the Midlands and North of England. Mechanical Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Installation Engineer - Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering
    The core responsibilities are split between workshop engineering, fitting, repair, technical customer support and Field Service Engineering.


    You will be attending client sites across the UK but biased towards Midlands & Southern locations to complete services, fit spare parts, diagnose and repair reported faults.

    This will require flexibility and staying away overnight as required. Initially, you'll be dual visiting alongside experienced Field Service Engineers until fully up to speed.

    Mechanical Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Installation Engineer - Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering

    • You'll have some exposure to hands on mechanical engineering - maybe from education, work experience, or maybe you just tinker with cars as a hobby?
    • You'll develop technical support skills, whilst completing service projects, fitting spare parts and fault finding on technical issues at client sites across the country.


    Any exposure to electrical wiring / control gear would also be of benefit - as would any experience of AutoCAD.


    Established for over 15 years and now turning over in excess of £7m, we are a design led engineering business that has enjoyed excellent growth year on year.


    There is a development potential for this role within the company and one which will develop in a variety of directions to include Field Service Engineering, Project Management and perhaps even Design.

    The right candidate will be given an opportunity to grow within this role and take on larger projects / promotion to the sales team / new product development etc.

    It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Technical Customer Support, Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Technician, Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, Workshop Engineer, Mechanical Workshop Technician
