- To represent LaingBuisson as a Lead Report Author, with a specific focus on the healthcare sector
- To take a lead writer role on at least four market reports per year, and to contribute to the delivery of content across LaingBuisson's report portfolio
- To work with the Research Projects Manager on workload and task allocation, and ways to develop expertise and capabilities across the team
- To work with the Research Project Manager to ensure key research deliverables are achieved within agreed deadlines and ensuring that all content is delivered on time and within scope.
- To have a strong understanding of data gathering and analysis, ideally within the healthcare sector, in order to guide and support the research and data analysts, and to identify and inform improvements to our current data capture.
- To be able to scope, develop and lead in-depth research on health and social care topics
- To work closely with external stakeholders and internal teams to gather insights and ensure content accuracy
- To build out a network of external stakeholder contacts for your personal development and to support the ability of LaingBuisson to draw down qualitative insights from key sector voices
- To take an active role in the continuous improvement of LaingBuisson's product and services by identifying ways of working more effectively and more efficiently
- To undertake other duties as necessary commensurate to a role of this level and nature.
- Demonstrable experience of healthcare sector knowledge and/or in a role focussed on evidence-led content production
- Proven experience in content creation, writing, editing and delivery
- Proven experience in working with quantitative and/or qualitative data and analysis
- Strong communication skills, both in one-to-one and group environments
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a small team
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a small and growing team environment
- Proactive and up for the challenge of finding new and improved approaches

Whether you already have healthcare sector experience, or come from a background writing in-depth, evidence-ed reports, at LaingBuisson you will work closely with a team of research and data analysts to explain data-driven insights, healthcare trends and regulatory policy with clarity and precision will support our clients and the wider industry understand real-life business concerns.
As the Lead Report Author, you will play a crucial role in shaping LaingBuisson's expert output and be responsible for writing many of our industry-leading market reports for the healthcare sector. Your creative thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skills will contribute to the successful interpretation of quantitative data into compelling narratives.
This opportunity would suit someone with a genuine passion for writing and who has experience of developing evidence-led narratives to improve understanding for key audiences. This role also offers the opportunity to develop and build out new areas of research, and become involved in our broader work across the sector using your expert insights to inform and deliver content.
Existing sector experience is preferable, but we will consider any candidates who are demonstrably keen for a new challenge and excited by the prospect of becoming a leading voice on healthcare issues. We would expect the successful candidate to be comfortable managing their own workload, as well as being able to delegate to make best use of an existing team.
