    Description

    Job Title: Team Leader in Melting
    Division: Weir Minerals
    Location: Todmorden, Onsite

    Purpose of Role:

    The Team Leader will provides guidance and instruction to encourage a positive team culture of working safely whilst achieving maximum output.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Organising work to achieved the defined targets
    • Ensuring instructions are communicated clearly within the team
    • Support and encourage team members to build an inclusive environment
    • Problem solve and implement solutions
    • Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
    • Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
    • Prior knowledge of the melting department
    • Team leader experience not mandatory however beneifical
    • Ability to work on a rolling 3 shift rota

    Compensation:

    • Competitive rate
    • Shift Premium
    • 25 days annual leave plus public holidays
    • Pension Scheme; 4% with 6% Weir Contributions, 6% with 9% Weir Contributions & 8% with 12% Weir Contributions
