    Description

    Our Impact

    The Inventory Management Engineering team focuses on reducing the firm's financing costs and maximizing profit, by enhancing our inventory management platforms.

    Mainly developed in Java, our software platforms utilize Kafka for event sequencing and operational research algorithms for optimization in handling billions of dollars in cash and securities inventory.

    This position offers a chance to contribute to the enhancement of our inventory management platforms, which monitor the firm's inventory in real-time and optimize the placement of cash and securities inventory automatically to boost the firm's efficiency.



    As part of our team, you will:

    • Participate in projects to further develop our inventory management platforms.
    • Lead the design and development process in close collaboration with traders, operations, and other teams.
    • Create highly scalable systems, develop user-facing web applications, and analytics.
    • Analyze requirements, develop, deploy, and support applications and services.
    • Contribute to a global team of engineers.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
    • Experience leading requirements gathering, design, and implementation of significant projects or systems.
    • Strong experience in Java, Python, C++, or equivalent.
    • Knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • High performance & throughput server-side programming.
    • Experience with messaging technologies like Apache Kafka.
    • Familiarity with the Spring/Boot ecosystem.
    • SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB) Database experience, knowledge of temporal databases would be advantageous.
    • Hands-on experience with development and SDLC of enterprise-grade applications.
    • Knowledge of mathematical optimization.
