- Purchase all component parts, equipment and services required across the business and departments.
- Responsible for the implementation and upkeep of MRP systems
- Working alongside with the Sales, Production and Quality, R&D and Finance teams.
- Ensure that all the component parts, processes and strategies are in place for New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Manage purchasing, supplier delivery and production strategies to ensure the company is meeting delivery commitments.
- Provide monthly and yearly KPI reports for stock position and supplier performance.

The JobDue to an exciting growth period and ongoing success the company are looking for an experienced Buyer/Demand Planner to join their team – sitting within the Production department.
Working within a modern manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for the purchasing of component parts and equipment - plus handling all stock levels to ensure the business can meet delivery targets.
The successful candidate will have a variety of tasks including:R&D:
identify new suppliers, negotiating the necessary commercial contracts and security arrangements.
Finance:
Reporting and forecasting of stock position – through the year and for annual stock takes.
Quality:
ensure that suppliers are qualified, managed and audited in line with company quality plans.
We are looking for candidates who have at least 2 years working in a similar role in an electronics manufacturing environment.
You will ideally be CIPS Level 3+ qualified, have a high level of attention to detail and able to demonstrate good judgement skills.
You will be motivated to ensure quality standards are met and exceeded, have excellent communication and problem solving skills and be keen to improve processes and procedures.
Salary and BenefitsThis role is offered on a permanent basis and is paying between £30,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience plus benefits.
