    Design Manager at Prestigious Property Developer - London, United Kingdom - Architecture Social

    Are you an experienced Design Manager looking to elevate your career with a new challenge in the high-end residential sector?We are currently working with a private property developer who is on the lookout for a seasoned Design Manager to lead the design and execution phases of a significant residential project located in Central London.

    Design Management experience within the prime residential sector is essential for this role, please do not apply if you do not have this.

    The role focuses on orchestrating the design delivery from RIBA Stage 3 onwards, through to the final detailing stages, ensuring the highest standards of quality and aesthetic excellence.

    In this key position, you will oversee a dedicated team tasked with crafting luxury residential interiors, including apartments, townhouses, and leisure spaces such as a spa and gym.

    Your expertise will guide the selection of materials, furniture, and the integration of state-of-the-art amenities.

    A pivotal part of your role will be to maintain the integrity of the design vision while managing the project's practical demands and timelines.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Direct and manage the interior design process, ensuring consistency with high-end luxury expectationsCollaborate closely with the Design Director to refine design briefs and align project outcomes with strategic goalsEngage actively in client and stakeholder feedback processes to adapt and refine project deliverablesLead the design team and coordinate with suppliers to ensure that all aspects of the project echo the agreed-upon theme and quality standardsOversee the production of detailed design documentation and monitor the adherence to cost and schedule

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

    Proven track record in managing high-end residential fitout projectsDeep understanding of luxury design elements, including material finishes and bespoke fittingsStrong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage a creative teamExcellent communication skills, with the capacity to negotiate and influence across various stakeholder groupsA commitment to upholding the highest standards of design and construction.
