    Description

    Arlo Europe, part of Verisure, is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Finance Controller to focus on the eCcommerce Sales Performance.

    Strategic context and Value proposition

    Verisure is the leading provider of monitored security solutions in Europe. In 2019, we formed a strategic partnership with Arlo, a world leader in connected cameras. Verisure acquired all rights to Arlo's European business, in particular, the exclusive distribution rights for Arlo branded camera products for all sales channels in Europe, including e-commerce and retail. Additionally, Verisure is entering into a supply agreement with Arlo whereby we get access to the full portfolio and past and future innovation stream of Arlo camera products to sell through the Verisure direct or partner channels across all our countries.

    Today, Verisure does not focus on e-commerce and retail channels. Instead, we drive our core go to market channels: direct field sales, alliances and telesales.The acquisition of Arlo Europe now gives us a strong leadership position in these two emerging and important channels for our business. This transaction has strategic importance.Camera led subscription services building on surveillance versus professionally monitored security are now creating attractive incremental growth opportunities.

    The Business Controller will help support our growth together with a strong and visionary Management Team that is creating a robust business plan for value creation.

    Responsibilities

    Specific Responsibilities:

  • Support key decision making through business modelling and analysis to help deliver optimal financial outcomes for the business
  • Analyse revenue and profitability results, perform variance analysis, identify trends and make recommendations for improvements
  • Update business unit P&L's for rolling forecast cycles and provide insights to senior leadership on material variances to original budget/forecast
  • Support team revenue forecasting that aligns to our channel partner's optimal level of inventory cover
  • Collaborate with Marketing Analyst & Marketing team to ensure business unit trade & marketing investment spend aligns to budget & revenue account performance
  • Engage with Finance team for forecasting and managing the business unit operating expense spend
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business unit model and its key drivers to identify performance trends and provide value-added analysis
  • Manage and deliver ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed

    Permanent hire will be based in London Victoria (Hybrid).

    Direct reporting line into the Finance Director for Arlo Europe Sales Performance.

    Candidate profile

    Experiences and Qualifications

    Competencies

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • In-depth analytical and reporting skills (Tableau/Power BI experience an advantage)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Understanding and managing all aspects of a P&L
  • +4 years' experience in ecommerce
  • Previous experience in digital market places will be very valuable
