    About this role

We are passionate about the credit card products we offer and want to reach as many new customers as possible, that's where you come in.

Capital One has a number of strong and exciting co-brand partnerships across the UK. This role will ultimately be responsible for maximising one or more of those partnerships in a well managed way, and driving strong business returns for both parties.

    What you'll do

    • End-to-end ownership of our relationship with the partner; from day to day approvals and monitoring of marketing, to performance tracking and development of future growth plans.
    • Optimising all aspects of the partners performance with the primary aim of delivering growth for Capital One.
    • Proactively seeking growth opportunities and new capabilities alongside the partner, and own the delivery of these into the market.
    • Understanding every aspect of the partnership - From up to date trading performance by pulling and analysing large data, through to the branding of communications - You will be the main point of contact both internally and externally, so you'll be a passionate brand ambassador for the partnership.
    • Working collaboratively with design, marketing and product teams to support thinking on the look and feel of the end product.
    • Analysing all available data (using SQL/Snowflake) to show actionable insight and ultimately make commercial business decisions, including occasional credit decisions.
    • Acting as the subject matter expert on the partnership, supporting other areas of the business in understanding and impact or opportunities.

    What we're looking for

    • Experience of managing relationships and driving commercial decisions – particularly utilising data to make decisions.
    • Ability to work autonomously and with a proactive mindset, and willing to pursue and explore different routes to solving problems.
    • Strong analytical skills - Whether demonstrated through academic or professional experience, you'll be at ease with numbers and enjoy solving problems that present numerically. SQL skills would be an advantage, however this is coachable.
    • A great communicator, able to effectively convey messages to our marketing partners and senior stakeholders within the business.
    • Comfortable working collaboratively with associates from across the business; from Legal & Compliance, Service Management, Technology and Operations.
    • Ability to prioritise across multiple projects and deliverables in a very high pace environment.
    • Experience working within a regulated environment would be desirable.

We are committed to creating a level playing field and seek to create teams that are representative of our customers and the communities we serve. We'd love to hear from you if you identify with a typically under-represented group in our industry and are particularly keen to hear from women, the LGBTQ+ community and ethnic minority candidates.

    Where and how you'll work

This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham offices.

We have a hybrid working model which gives you flexibility to work from our offices and from home.

We're big on collaboration and connection, so you'll be based in our Nottingham office 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Many of our associates have flexible working arrangements, and we're open to talking about an arrangement that works for you.

    What's in it for you;

    • Bring us all this - and you'll be handsomely rewarded with a role contributing to the roadmap of an organisation committed to transformation
    • We offer high performers strong and diverse career progression, investing heavily in developing great people through our Capital One University training programmes (and appropriate external providers)
    • Immediate access to our core benefits including pension scheme, bonus, generous holiday entitlement and private medical insurance – with flexible benefits available including season-ticket loans, cycle to work scheme and enhanced parental leave
    • Open-plan workspaces and accessible facilities designed to inspire and support you. Our Nottingham head-office has a fully-serviced gym, subsidised restaurant, mindfulness and music rooms. In London, you can heighten your mood with a run on our rooftop running track or an espresso at the Workshop Coffee café
