    The challenge:

    Newsflare Studios, our social publishing arm, uses user-generated video to create engaging content and human-interest stories, distributed to social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Amazon) producing hit shows that attract over 200 million monthly views. We are building a team to help us capitalise on the success of existing shows like Animal Antics as well as developing and testing formats that become the hit social programmes of the future.

    Where you come in:

    We are looking for someone based in the UK who will lead the production of compelling, attention grabbing, can't stop watching video, for our shows across multiple social media platforms.

    You will:

    • Oversee all video content for social pages managing a team of Junior and Freelance producers
    • Create, execute, and edit content in multiple formats and of various lengths. adding titles, text, and metadata for maximum audience engagement.
    • Regularly monitoring insights using social media analysis tools, and reviewing and reporting on effectiveness to maximise result
    • Identify themes and social crazes trending across social platforms and the Newsflare video vault.
    • Always work within the community guidelines and best practise for each social platform

    Experience

    • You know your stuff when it comes to the major social media platforms (Facebook, Snap, Tik-Tok, Youtube) and emerging social trends.
    • You can demonstrate your past success running fast paced, high output social media channels that monetise.
    • Happy to be hands on. Confident and skilled using video and photo editing software – Adobe Premier Pro and Photoshop.
    • Able to review, advise and develop Junior editors and freelance support to ensure they deliver quality edits.
    • Happy to work against tight deadlines in a fast paced production environment.
    • Motion graphics experience is a big plus.

    • Are resourceful, optimistic, tenacious, confident, and full of energy. Someone with an entrepreneurial mind set able to build strong relationships with a range of different stakeholders.
