    This role offers the opportunity for a candidate with a passion for engineering and a strong sense of ownership to be involved in the design and implementation of solutions to enable self-service operations. Improve the application code base operational aspects (monitoring, instrumentation, alerting, security). Influence and propagate good operational practices within a motivated and energetic broader engineering team.

    Skills and Requirements:

    ·Experience running Java applications in production

    ·Experience working in cloud environments (AWS cloud preferably)

    ·Knowledge of HTTP protocol and principles

    ·Knowledge of network principles and practices

    ·Knowledge of monitoring platforms and solutions

    ·Experience with automation frameworks (Ansible / Puppet / Chef / other)

    ·Experience with Terraform

    ·Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines

    ·Strong bias to action and ownership

    ·Experience in Kubernetes (nice to have)
