Description

Job Description

Uphold, develop and deliver robust Asset care through professional maintenance

Participate in RCA on machinery failures and put 100 year fix in place

Conduct PPM's as requested and align with manufacturers recommendations through the use of a CMMS (Shire)

Support and work with processes developed to maintain stock levels.

Follow all company policies and procedures

Ensure production runs as effectively as possible

Work collaboratively with other departments

Day to day maintenance of manufacturing equipment and site services

Carry out fault finding, using recognised diagnostic techniques

Have a positive contribution to planned and preventative maintenance

Maximise equipment reliability and performance

Respond to internal customer needs to maximise production run time according to given priorities

Comply with food safety standards and controls to ensure all work is carried out correctly and safely

Complete all necessary documentation ensuring that it is kept accurate and is audit ready

Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to promote Health & Safety and/or operational efficiency and effectiveness

Participate in handover meeting to ensure smooth transfer of workload

Travel to other sites in the region if required

Qualifications

Formal engineering qualification HNC and above

Working knowledge of TPM methodology

Demonstrable PLC skills (Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley)

Demonstrable skills working with Flow Wrappers, Multihead Weighers, Printing Systems, Powder Transfer Systems, Rotary Pot Sealers, Augers, Checkweighers and Metal Detectors

Experience of working in food and FMCG environment.

Ability to work accurately and methodically in all task's

IOSH / NEBOSH qualification preferred

Good numeracy and IT skills.

Good communication skills.

Demonstrable problem-solving skills

Experienced with working to tight customer deadlines

Flexible approach to duties and tasks
