    European Bank for Reconstruction & Development


    Purpose of the Role:

    • The Associate Director, Case Intake & Analysis, is in charge of evaluating and prioritizing all allegations related to staff misconduct and prohibited practices by Bank counterparts, such as workplace behavior, fraud, corruption, and collusion.
    • Responsibility includes overseeing the Case Intake & Analysis function, creating assessment processes, guidelines, workflows, and managing complaint assessments.
    • Quality assurance, producing reports for management, and mentoring investigators are also part of the role.

    Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

    • Provide expert advice and manage Case Intake & Analysis.
    • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders for effective dialogue on received allegations.
    • Review and implement aligned Case Intake procedures in collaboration with internal teams.
    • Lead desk reviews and preliminary assessments ensuring adherence to the Conduct and Disciplinary Rules and Procedures.
    • Reporting to the Director Investigations and documenting all case-related information.
    • Develop workflows, procedures, and maintain investigation manuals.
    • Engage with law enforcement and other institutions for joint assessments and policy work.
    • Support special projects and initiatives as required.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
    • Significant experience in investigations and Case Intake functions.
    • Ability to handle complex situations with integrity and discretion.
    • Strong analytical and communication skills.
    • Results-oriented, resilient, and able to work flexibly.
    • Good understanding of legal and financial information interpretation.
    • Knowledge of investigative policy development and international negotiations.
    • Excellent command of English, proficiency in other languages beneficial.
