    Description

    This company offers a wide range of custom machinery for advanced material processing. With over 50 years of experience in supplying tailored equipment, including a range of standard products, they have built a strong client base in the UK, Europe, and internationally. Currently, they are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team in Lanarkshire.

    Technical Sales Engineer - The Role:

    • Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs
    • Lead sales and marketing efforts in the UK & Europe
    • Target end user clients in sectors like Aerospace, Automotive, Metal Processing, and related industries
    • Establish and nurture relationships with industry professionals such as project engineers and procurers

    Technical Sales Engineer - The Person:

    • Technical expertise in Engineering, Process Engineering, or Metallurgical fields
    • Previous field sales experience in process industries preferred, but open to Graduates with 2-3 years industrial experience and a passion for technical sales
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
    • Self-motivated and a team player
    • Structured approach to information processing
    • Willingness to travel for sales meetings, activities, and exhibitions

    This position is based in Glasgow and easily commutable from locations like East Kilbride, Cumbernauld, Wishaw, and Livingston.
