    Remote Learning Disabilities Nurse Manager

    This role would cover patients across Home Counties - Must be prepared to Travel at least 2 day a week to these areas

    Remote with some field-based assessment to patients' homes required - must be prepared to travel

    The split would be 3 from home 2 days out in the community.

    Salary Range £45,000- £50,000/ annum + £3,000 Car Allowance

    Our client a Complex Care provider is looking for a Learning Disabilities Nurse Manager to oversee care packages in the community. You will assess patients and write up care plans based on their daily needs, you will continue to work with the patients and families being the point of contact.

    Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all clinical complaints as per company policy and risk management
  • Report to Clinical Director any issues that may arise on a weekly basis.
  • Submission of regular clinical reports & updates through to the CCG regarding their packages as per contractual agreements.
  • Updating Clinical Director of weekly patient trackers.
  • Attend annual appraisal with Clinical Director
  • To participate and have a regular 1-1 with Clinical Director
  • To participate in professional development monthly meetings
  • Undertake annual appraisal and supervisions of all registered nurses working.
  • Helping set up an launch of new packages of care
  • Role:

  • Contract type; permanent, Full time 40 hours per week
  • Core hours; Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm - Some Flexibility will be required
  • Fully remote role - will field based assessments - will need to report to offices in Croydon for meetings and training ( once every 6 weeks)
  • Skills & Experience

  • 2 years + Nursing experience within an Acute setting i.e PITU, PHDU, Neuro or Rehab
  • RCN - Child Registered PIN
  • Must have Tracheostomy & ventilation exp
  • Must be car driving and own car (mileage will be paid in addition to salary)
  • Compassionate and caring
  • Confident and comfortable to push back on other healthcare professionals if needed
  • Good computer skills – writing reports & email responding
  • Must be in UK Ideally with home counties
