    Desired Qualifications

    Programme Development : Lead the development and execution of programmes, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and enhancing core work areas, while navigating through uncertainty and complexity.

    Programme Delivery, Governance, and Administration : Ensure efficient delivery by establishing practices and procedures that aid in programme management, including governance and financial oversight.

    Community Building and Engagement : Supervise the organization of events and activities that promote interactions within the University and beyond, fostering a diverse community of AI researchers addressing real-world challenges.

    Cultivating Relationships : Establish and nurture collaborations across the University, acting as a professional liaison and ensuring excellent customer service.

    We are seeking proactive individuals who enjoy solving problems and are eager to influence the growth of a new team. You should possess strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, you should excel in interpersonal communication, relationship building, and have an eye for detail that ensures top-notch service delivery. Key qualifications include:

    • Proven experience in managing complex programmes, leading implementation in diverse stakeholder environments;
    • Ability to coordinate with delivery partners and stakeholders, mobilizing support and fostering communities of practice;
    • Determination to introduce innovative work methods, with a track record of initiating new projects and establishing associated governance and monitoring mechanisms;
    • Strong background in organizing high-quality engagement initiatives, supported by effective communication and stakeholder management skills;
    • Exceptional programme management and organizational abilities, capable of handling key programme functions such as financial management, while efficiently managing competing priorities independently.

    What's in it for You

    This position is classified under Grade 9 (salary range £45,585 - £57,696). It is a permanent role, contingent on funding continuity and successful completion of a 9-month probationary period. Multiple candidates may be selected from this recruitment drive.
