- Oversee day-to-day operations of the company, including project management, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
- Coordinate with various departments, including engineering, construction, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless workflow and project delivery.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, identifying and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control measures.
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers, supervisors, and field staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term business plans and objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend investments in equipment, technology, and infrastructure to enhance productivity and competitiveness.
- Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and positive outcomes.
- Analyse performance metrics and financial data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, utilities / civil experience is ESSENTIAL
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from conception to completion.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and quality standards in the utilities/civil industry
- Ability to analyse complex data, make informed decisions, and solve problems effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and exceeding expectations.
