    Description

    Executive Summary:

    Molecular Products aims to significantly grow its business in the next 3 years through a mix of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.

    Objective for Position:

    This role focuses on leading the EMEA Sales Team in the UK to drive business development and account management across various sectors.

    Scope:

    • Establish and optimize sales structures, processes, and teams to boost sales and customer satisfaction.
    • Manage sales personnel and activities to support business development and growth.
    • Handle sales operations, contracts, tenders, and product support across different markets and products.
    • Lead sales forecasting and oversee commercial affairs for the business unit.

    Reports to: Vice President of Business Development with additional reporting to the UK Managing Director

    Territory: EMEA, with potential for global collaboration

    Products: O2, Carbons, Catalysts, Whetlerites, and CO2

    Key Markets: Military, Industrial, and Medical

    Travel: Approximately 35% travel required for industry events, meetings, and training.

    Office Location: Harlow Essex, UK

    Key Deliverables:

    Key Objectives:

    • Develop the sales team and revenue
    • Set goals, train staff, and manage performance
    • Maintain gross margins and manage key accounts
    • Ensure successful contract bidding and order fulfillment
    • Generate qualified leads and new sales revenue
    • Adhere to sales terms and company policies
    • Monitor customer satisfaction and budget adherence

    Market and Product Areas:

    Territory: EMEA, with potential for global collaboration

    Products: O2, Carbons, Catalysts, Whetlerites, and CO2

    Key Markets: Military, Industrial, and Medical

    Education/Experience:

    REQUIRED:

    Degree or equivalent experience in commercial sales, marketing, or related fields

    Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in technical products

    Minimum 3 years of team management experience

    Preference for experience in the chemical industry, especially in technologies related to sorbents or air purification

    Compensation Target:

    Base salary: £75,000

    Variable pay up to £70,000 based on performance.
