    About the role

    We're looking for an enthusiastic Junior Content Writer to join our Content team. As a Junior Content Writer you will support the team in creating informative and engaging content for our customers. You will play a key role in the maintenance of our web content, ensuring it upholds quality standards.

    What you'll be doing

    • Support the content team by carrying out research to collect accurate and timely information that will be used to develop top-notch editorial guides and content.
    • Maintaining and editing our existing bank of content. Working collaboratively with our SEO team.
    • Creating and editing content under the guidance of the Content Manager and experienced Content Editors, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
    • Contributing ideas and insights to help grow our bank of content.
    • Being a brand guardian and having the ability to apply our company tone of voice and brand guidelines to all of our annual insurance content.

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate will have a passion for the written word and for telling stories that educate and engage readers.

    Essentials:

    • A strong and creative flair for writing, being able to turn complex topics into clear, customer-friendly copy that's interesting, informative and engaging
    • An understanding of SEO
    • Impeccable spelling, punctuation and grammar
    • Experience of using Excel and creating reports
    • Understanding of web analytic tools, such as Google Analytics
    • Being a team-player, able to collaborate across multiple teams
    • Strong organisational skills, being able to juggle multiple work-streams simultaneously
    • Good communication skills, with the ability to analyse and present results

    Desirables:

    • Experience in writing for insurance and financial services
    • A degree in writing or journalism
    • Experience of using a CMS.
