The Inclusion Service are looking for a Graduated Response Inclusion Practitioner to join the team. Supported by your manager and an Education Officer, you will be working face to face with young people who are facing challenges accessing education to support them to re-engage.
About the Role:
Graduated Response Inclusion Practitioners work directly with children and professionals in various settings to enable children to participate as fully as possible in the delivery of plans or programmes to promote the education and inclusion of children and young people.They provide a package of support to increase children and young people's access to education specifically relating to medical needs; home education, education employment and training, children missing education and exclusions. They model good practice, best endeavours and reasonable adjustments for professionals and families to ensure quality education is accessible and maintained within educational settings and home education. They support children and young people to re-engage in educational opportunities and assist in the day-to-day management of a caseload of children and young people with the supervision and support of the Education Officer and Team Manager, including keeping case records.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
