Summary
You are passionate about cloud computing and virtualisation. We are now offering a rare opportunity to enhance your career within the Infrastructure space.


Our Senior Infrastructure Engineers are responsible for maintaining and administering the backend infrastructures and platforms that support Wanstor and serve our hosted customer base.


Key Responsibilities:


Overview

  • Project delivery, consultancy and resource management
  • Core infrastructure maintenance
  • Solution design, presales and project management support
  • Automation and internal efficiency development
  • Management of Hyper V

Desirable experience could include:

  • Maintain and administer internal and hosting infrastructures considering security, crossplatform integrations, performance, risk and resilience/availability.
  • Owning incidents impacting infrastructure availability and reliability, resulting in satisfactory conclusion.
  • Ability to break a problem down into its component parts to identify and diagnose root causes.
- infrastructure reporting platforms to facilitate billing and capacity management / forecasting.
- maintenance, including installation and decommissioning of servers, SANs and other hardware.

  • Ensuring monitoring and alerting systems are properly configured and maintained.
  • Support development of more junior colleagues via mentoring and sharing knowledge.
  • Windows Server, including Hyper V
- iSCSI shared storage and SAN

  • Maintain documentation of core infrastructure

About You:


You will want to working independently in our datacentre environments, have excellent attention to detail and show excellent organisational skills.

You will enjoy working with Windows Server versions through to V 2022 and Hyper V, SCVMM experience advantageous.

You will be trusted with assessing risk and control changes in large and complex infrastructures. Owning complex IT projects and support at a senior / technical lead level
