    Description

    White Label is thrilled to collaborate with a growing manufacturing company situated in North Manchester. As part of their expansion, they are in search of a Project Design Engineer to join their dynamic office team, dedicated to meeting unique customer needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create custom designs in 3D tailored to individual customer requirements.
    • Coordinate with clients to secure design approval based on GA Drawings.
    • Generate precise technical drawings using SolidWorks, aligning with customer needs and timelines.
    • Prepare Issue Sheets/BOM's.
    • Maintain regular communication with customers throughout project delivery and post-delivery to ensure satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with Technical and Production departments for seamless project handover for production.
    • Engage with metalwork suppliers and other vendors for project-related activities.
    • Develop Qualification Documents and Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
    • Participate in customer progress meetings.
    • Oversee day-to-day project operations.
    • Ensure project files are current, including archiving all correspondence emails.
    • Update and manage project tracking tools.
    • Solicit peer reviews for challenging tasks to ensure the best client outcomes.
    • Provide necessary reports to Contract Manager.
    • Attend Client site meetings when necessary.
    • Create new designs and implement product enhancements.
    • Assess and approve new components.

    Key Results/ Objectives:

    - Ensure the design offers a viable solution.

    - Produce detailed and accurate drawings.

    - Complete drawings within specified timeframes.

    - Adhere to project budgets.

    Package:

    - Salary: £38K to 45K, depending on experience.

    - Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm; Friday, 8.30am to 2.30pm.

    - Company pension scheme.

    - Company bonus plan.
