Greet is on a fast-paced journey to excellence and we are looking for a number of permanent, full time class teachers to join us. These will be based in KS1/KS2, ECTs are welcome to apply. Starting September 2024.
Providing the best education for children in areas experiencing high levels of deprivation is what we do. It's what we believe we are good at, and it makes us happy. It makes coming to work every day worthwhile. We are not saying it is easy and that we don't go home exhausted, but we love it.
We want people to join us who feel as passionately about working in Inner-city Birmingham as we do. As the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher at Greet we recognise what a tough job it is, and we promise to do everything we can to support our staff. We look after your professional development and your mental wellbeing. We provide coaching, mentoring, and work within a Professional Growth Framework which promotes ownership of your own CPD.
We believe that colleagues should be treated with kindness and respect. We trust people to do the job. We believe in building warm professional relationships with those that we work with. We encourage our staff to "just ask", "just come and talk to us", or "just tell us...". We are ridiculously positive people and believe that nothing is insurmountable We love a project What we are looking for are teachers who would love to be part of a team on an exciting journey.
Teachers who will not be phased by the challenges of working in Inner-city Birmingham. Obviously, you will need to be able to teach and be kind to our children. Working in a four-form entry school means you have to like working as part of a team and be highly organised. Even if you are not sure you are welcome to meet our amazing children and staff. You just never know We look forward to meeting you. Ms T Yasmin and Miss C Williams Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher.
If you are interested in visiting our school, please contact Shirley Queenan, our School Business Manager on or send an email to:
Please apply online
Interviews will be held during the week commencing Monday 20th May 2024. Interviews will include a lesson observation and a panel interview. Previous applicants need not apply.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to necessary pre-employment checks, including: an enhanced DBS; Prohibition check (where applicable) Childcare Disqualification (where applicable); qualifications (where applicable); medical fitness; identity and right to work. All applicants will be required to provide two suitable references. An online search will also be carried out on all shortlisted candidates.
