    Description

    Sales Executive - Building/Design Sector

    Permanent Opportunity

    £30K basic plus Commission OTE in excess of £60k + Dependant upon Sales achieved

    Burslem

    Working for a successful manufacturer of modular buildings, versatile office spaces and bespoke designed portable units

    The Role:

    Providing business development sales to a progressive company who has invested heavily in stock

    You will be providing business development sales to secure business opportunities

    Working off own initiative, a self starter, offering strong product knowledge

    Having a technical understanding through sales and communications

    Responsible for dealing with customers, supporting the sales, design and quotation process

    Following up on quotations

    Offering order information and support

    Negotiating and dealing with people at all levels

    An element of design and layout planning through CAD, Computer Aided Design

    Visting sites and customers as and when required to develop relationships and sales

    This is a fantastic role for an individual in sales that wants to have more responsibility

    To be valued, to have a voice that's heard within the business and a future career

    Skills and Attributes required:

    Ideally from a product based sales background

    Ideally from the construction, building industry where sales and customer service are paramount

    You may have worked in the retail industry in kitchen, bathroom sales

    With an understanding of building designs, specifications to support customer needs

    Able to offer technical sales support on modular buildings

    Excellent communication skills (telephone and email)

    The ideal candidate will be proactive, a desire to achieve

    Ability to influence and build strong supplier relations for business growth

    Confident in dealing with deadlines and working under pressure

    Ability to close sales

    Strong PC skills in all Microsoft packages

    Strong organisational skills

    Accurate attention to detail

    Experience in using CAD (Computer Aided Design)

    You must hold a Clean Driving Licence, due to site visits

    The Hours

    Monday to Friday

    8am – 5pm
