    Description
    Adecco are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Ayrshire client. This is a fantastic opportunity working a day shift and 4 day week. You will be working a Monday to Thursday.

    Your role will be to support the production teams by carrying out planned, corrective and reactive mechanical maintenance tasks.

    You will have many responsibilities, some will include:

    • Responsible for reporting any unsafe acts or unsafe conditions observed in accordance with responsibilities under the Health and Safety at work Act
    • Carry out mechanical Planned Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance to production equipment and mechanical infrastructure
    • Fault diagnosis and root cause analysis
    • Utilisation of the site Computerised Maintenance Management System system for all maintenance works
    • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and is to the required standard of workmanship

    To be considered you should have the following:

    • Ability to diagnose faults on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
    • Good working knowledge of maintenance practice, MTBF, condition monitoring etc
    • Experience in a mechanical maintenance role
    • Strong bias for action to identify potential problems and co-ordinate their resolution before they become an issue
    • The ability to build and develop effective relationships and use these to improve performance.
    • Strong IT, communication and team working skills
    • Knowledge of the principles of company policy and operating procedures in order to ensure site and company compliance
