- Responsible for reporting any unsafe acts or unsafe conditions observed in accordance with responsibilities under the Health and Safety at work Act
- Carry out electrical Planned Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance to production equipment and mechanical infrastructure
- Fault diagnosis and root cause analysis
- Utilisation of the site Computerised Maintenance Management System system for all maintenance works
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and is to the required standard of workmanship
- Work in accordance with site procedures, engineering standards and relevant legislation
- Minimum HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering and served a recognised electrical apprenticeship
- Ability to diagnose faults on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
- Good working knowledge of maintenance practice, MTBF, condition monitoring etc.
- Experience in an electrical maintenance role
- Ability to work to tight timescales
- Must have personal commitment to Safety, Quality and Environmental standard
- Strong bias for action to identify potential problems and co-ordinate their resolution before they become an issue
- The ability to build and develop effective relationships and use these to improve performance
- Strong IT, communication and team working skills
- Excellent communication skills.
